1 1/2 cup Non-fat milk
1 cup Strawberries
1 cup Honey
1 cup Water
optional: 1 – 2 teaspoons Strawberry essence
In a small pot, heat the strawberries, water and honey until boiling. Boil for 10 minutes.
Strain the mixture into a bowl, you can save the excess cooked strawberries for yogurt or pancakes 🙂
On low heat, combine the milk and strawberry syrup, add the strawberry essence if you want it to taste more like store bought strawberry milk
